Pre-Season Tree Stand Tune-up Time

Turkey season has come and gone, and deer season fast approaching; it's time to think about tree stand preparation.  Don't wait until the last minute to give your Lone Wolf tree stand a maintenance check.  Now is the time to check your cables, straps, traction belts, nuts and bolts.  We at Lone Wolf want to make sure your tree stands are in proper condition and ready to go for this year’s upcoming deer hunting season.

Simple maintenance on your Tree Stand, will help with any safety issues.

Safety should be the number one priority for every hunter every time we go afield.  Belts can weather over time; squirrels can chew on components, and then there is the general wear and tear caused by hunting hard all season long.  Now is the time to make sure all nuts and bolts are tight and show no sign of wear. Also, be sure to check your cables to ensure there are no signs of stress cracks in the rubber coating to expose them to weather and replace worn seat cushions if necessary.

Replacing the accessories on your stand is very important to maintain a reliable stand.

To eliminate safety hazards, it is important to perform these safety checks well before the hunting season begins. Please don't put it off until hunting season arrives.  Always remember to take care of your Lone Wolf tree stands and they will take care of you.
